You knew it was coming, now here is the official word!
This could be one of the largest gatherings of journalists in Kentucky history with the Kentucky News Photographers Association, the Kentucky Press Association and the Kentucky Intercollegiate Press Association all come together in Lexington at the Embassy Suites for one big convention. KNPA members will be meeting Friday and Saturday, January 20-21; KPA’s portion of the schedule is Thursday and Friday, January 19-20;  and KIPA members will be with KPA on Friday, January 20, then having its Awards Brunch on Saturday, January 21.

The KNPA will hold it’s annual POY Contest judging on Friday, January 20, 2012, which is open to the public from 10:30 a.m. until about 10 p.m. Both Still and TV contests will be judged.

The 2012 KNPA Educational Seminar will be help Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. with eight speakers/presenters that are recognized as industry leaders. Canon and Nikon vendors will be set up to let you look, touch and drool over some of their latest cameras, lenses and accessories.
